Hey there internet!
here it is – the latest episode of Little Miss Gamer… I had a blast making it and putting the playlist together. The whole idea is to play the playlist at the same time as you’re playing the game. Give it a whirl and let me know what you think!
Items of note for this episode:
It was EXTREMELY HOT in our apartment… and in order to get good sound we had to close the windows. Oh the sacrifices we make for good video.
What is that adorable plush toy in the background at the beginning of the episode? Why it’s Konjoined Kitty! Made by my good puppet friend Michael Schupbach!
This was an idea I had kicking around for a while… would you like to see more playlists in the future?
Shout out to Hex for the animation art at the beginning of the episode and Glenn Case for the awesome intro song.
So the other day I was on a walk… thinking about new LMG episodes and what we’d be filming this week and all that good stuff, and there in front of me on the sidewalk was a lovely blue bear chair just waiting to be loved. Its owner was right next to it and said – it’s looking for a good home. I think it’s time that we unite red with blue.
So – as some of you might have noticed, it’s been awhile since there’s been any sorts of updates happening on the Little Miss Gamer section of the site. I can tell you straight up that that’s all about to change. We’ve just finished up a couple of huge projects on our end over here, and will now be focusing on getting out episodes of Little Miss Gamer every other week. Whoo-hooo! So, def. stay tuned, there’ll be more posting from here as well. I’m gonna really try to get myself into the habit.
This episode was so much fun to film. The blob that I use in the opening is actually this stuff called Mars Mud. We had been searching for some interesting slime, and this proved to be a winner. One thing to note however – if you break the Mars Mud into pieces – it will never be as awesome as it was when you first opened it out of the package. It has this weird way of breaking apart, and it never goes back to quite the way it used to be. That’s actually why we ended up using two different kinds of muds. The reddish pink mud in the review section had been used and abused by me and the PBC guys, trying to figure out how to sculpt it, and what exactly we were going to do with it. The greenish blue mud in the opening skit is fresh lovely beautiful mud.
So there you have it – a lesson on Mars Mud – in case you ever needed to know!
Today the guys are all going to NAVA, I unfortunately will be unable to attend, but I promise that I’ll be at next months. We have the premiere of our film “Puppet Rampage” tomorrow in Manhattan, and there’s still some last minute prepping that I want to get done.
