Chalk this up as a pleasant surprise, internet! Tomorrow marks the release of Follow That Marshmallow, a team effort between PBC Productions and Cinemassacre. In the short film, James and I tour many of the NYC locations from the Ghostbusters movies, and reminisce about one of the most beloved franchises from our youth. Despite some issues exporting this monster (shot in full 1080 HD!) it will be released on cinemassacre.com tomorrow for sure, and quite possibly on our site as well. Bon apetit!

Glad to see the project come to fruition. Was Chad working the camera?

That was a flat out amazing video! That's too bad that that one place wanted to charge you dudes all that money to record there.

Just wondering, what is the problem you are having when uploading the video in HD? I've played with 1080i HD footage on youtube and it looks great! But I usually stick to 720p since most games I review tend to be captured in 720p anyhow.

20 minutes of HD 1080 footage at full quality is 17 GB. You can technically upload the raw video right onto youtube, but 17 GB would take forever. So we're experimenting with a few different export options to get it to be an HD aspect ratio, but cutting down on a size. I found an option that would cut the file down to about 4.5 GB at 1280x720, so I think that's what we're going to go for. The version that's on the web now looks fine, but it was compressed down to a few hundred megabytes, and is only 720x405. Once we put it on yotube, we'll likely have an HD option.

I'm very very late writing this (I pretty much saw the video the day it came out), but very nice work, guys. It's entertaining and informative, and I always marvel at the research that must go on with these types of project, like finding obscure locations and shot angles.

Anyways, great work on the tour and video, high quality entertainment as always.
