You are not crazy. That IS the Atari 2600 version of Missile Command. I even recognize the artwork.
I never had a 7800, but one of it's selling points was the ability to play Atari 2600 cartridges in addition to the 7800 titles. Backwards compatibility baby, yeah!

That's probably why the game couldn't pause. I haven't done my research on this part, but I bet they couldn't get the pause feature to work for the 2600 titles.
EDIT: I failed to mention this earlier, but this was a great segment and I am looking forward to future installments. I think you have a winner here. It's really too bad that Little Miss Gamer will probably not be able to sign autographs at MAGFest.

Awesome write-up from another Z! Co-incidence?
I randomly surfed from their site onto The Remus Lupins, a Harry Potter fan-band...and Little Miss Gamer just happens to be wearing a "Harry and the Potters" shirt! Co-incidence? Or glaring universal signpost that we may have found brothers in arms?

Very entertaining. It was different than AVGN since it was more sincere and not about ripping the game apart but more about giving an actual review. LOVED the 'i am a little angry' part am i wrong to think it was a AVGN reference?
I love how PBC is trying out new shows in the Captain S hiatus. This, the Robot Dating videos, and History Science Theater? Should start your own internet tv show!

Anyone ever play Sin and Punishment on the N64 or recently on the virtual console? If you beat you game, you'll notice the final boss is like an insane remake of Missile Command with lots of drugs!
