Tina's boyfriend gets so screwed! First he gets accused of killing Tina. Then Nancy's prick dad that is a cop follows her to school to catch him. Then he goes to jail and Freddy kills him in jail haha. Poor guy. _________________

The game is evil. I thought for sure that being underweight would cause the Wii Fit to instruct me to stop the game and go eat a fucking steak.
It didn't. Wii Fit told me to work out. It told me to work out MORE.
It wanted me DEAD. _________________ web sight | blog | vidjagamez |

As a former Marine I know how to get people into shape for just about anything. So I've had plenty of people ask me to help them with exercise routines. I usually start them on a sensible diet for a week before doing any exercise, and that alone has people lose about 8 lbs of fat.
The Wii fit, while it is nice to see it encourages physical activity, does NOTHING to improve your overall health. Studies have already been done. Push-ups and all that are nice, but a lack of actual aerobic activity (walking, or running) will not help your overall health. It's like the average build guy that drops dead of a heart attack because his cholesterol was high, but his weight was low.
I'm sure the mini games are fun, but the physical benefits are really minimal. They are only there if this is the ONLY physical activity you do. And I mean only. People who live in NYC get more exercise walking to the subway.
Don't get me wrong, it's nice to see a game company taking a step towards good moral responisiblity, it's just no substitute for a solid heart rate during a work out and good diet.
I loved the ninja/karate kid part. It was shot and edited SO MUCH like an old seventies kung fu movie. Awesome vid. _________________ Algren - "Every soldier has nightmares."

I'm about as skinny as they come. High metabolism. I do walk a lot(since I can't drive...) though. So, I don't want to get Wii Fit, but if there's another game for the balance board, then I'll try it. _________________

I believe the next Raving Rabbids game will use the Wii Fit board. And that ut has nothing to do with working out, just playing party games. _________________ "If you make a zombie movie like House of the Dead, what are they expecting? Schindler's List?"

I'm not going to list all 115 roles he has done, along with countless series, specials, and episodes where he played himself, and his numerous involvement as director and producer on many films as well. If you are a horror fan at all, you'll recognize him immediately as a cult icon. NOES was successful enough to launch all its sequels and Englund's career, and this was because of Robert Englund, and not because of Johnny Depp.
Now, if you were to say that 21 Jumpstreet, or Edward Scissorhands jetted Depp to stardom, I would be likely to agree.
Anyway, Wii fit will kill you. Z actually does want it out of the house in real life... ask her about it. |
People hear Robert Englund I garuntee they will say Freddy, not any other role, like ok yes he was The Phantom of the Opera but thats not what people know him as, he's Freddy. Not that thats bad at all, man's a genius, just very much known for NOES and not other films, although Im sure he was great in all of them |

The point Darrin was making is not that Robert Englund is well known for all of his work, but that NOES made him famous, not Depp. Horror flicks are a cult preoccupation, and it's a rarity for someone to become famous on a mainstream level strictly from doing horror. NOES introduced Johnny Depp, but certainly didn't launch his career, nor do most people even remember 25 years later that he was in it. It was 2 years before he was even in another noteworthy film (Oliver Stone's Platoon) and even then he was a forgettable character, overshadowed by the likes of Charlie Sheen, Tom Berenger, Willem Dafoe, and Forrest Whitaker. It wasn't until 1987 when he starred on the TV show 21 Jump Street that anyone took notice of him.
Robert Englund, on the other hand, became a household name with the release of NOES. He was 37 years old and had already made dozens of appearances on film and TV, but until 1984, nobody knew who he was. He may not have achieved fame of the A-list variety as Depp eventually did, but he became an icon in the world of horror, as well as gaining mainstream attention. Do you know the names of any of the actors who played Jason? Michael Myers? Pinhead? Even Chucky? Unless you're really into horror, probably not. But you know Robert Englund. _________________

Kane Hodder ... okay, don't know who played Mike Meyers ... Doug Bradley, Brad Dourif (voice) respectively.
Three out of four isn't bad XD (not trying to disprove your point, because I was really into horror back in the day--just wanted to see how many I remembered). _________________ She's like a goth Little Miss Gamer. D:

Well put.
For evidence of modern-day Englund involvement, check out Hatchet, one of the few great modern slasher-horror films. _________________ "This is very bad! This is BAD!"
