So for those of you who've been to the main page or youtube...we're sorry. I know this was not the announcement you were waiting for, nor was it the announcement we were hoping for. Please know that without you guys, we wouldn't even be here today. We can't thank you enough for your unfettering support for the show over the past 2 years. We hope you'll continue to visit our site and know that we will continue to deliver content month after month. We ain't done yet, internet. We ain't done yet.

Truly heartbreaking to say the least, but I still have faith in you PBC.

Rock on!

I'm a Captain S fan and while this is sad to hear it was only one of the many great things that PBC Productions has done and will do. Smile

It's kind of disappointing, but you guys have a lot of other stuff going for you. Little Miss Gamer is getting a lot of love, but I'd love to see the return of Robot Safety Awareness or History Science Theater.

I understand that you might not be able to answer this, but someone has to ask it. Why is Captain S out? Is it lack of funding, lack of inspiration, legal issues, or something I can't even imagine?

Sorry to hear this terrible news. I damn-near teared up during the video and was waiting and hoping for Brett to say sumthin like "Yes.. the New Adventures of Captain S has come to an end.. but starting in November 2009.. The Extreme Adventures of Captain S!!". I too would love to know how come it has been canceled, it's obviously not due to a lack of fan interest.

I seriously think so too. Then again, Brett could be shot to death and the rest of PBC brutally murdered and I'd still look forward to Captain S season 2... Laughing

Why? That's all I want to know, before I make any comments.

I hope it's not "We feel we've taken the concept as far as it could go" or "We wanted to end it before it got stale".

I hate those.

Then let me say that Captain S was the greatest and, for me personally, the most inspirational thing produced by this community.

That aside, was Evanescence really the best thing you could think to use?

So that's it then..there will be no season 2. I can't say I'm not disappointed but I also can't say I won't respect you guy's decision... Sad

Oh well, Brett was looking to old to play a high school student anyway, lol! Laughing Razz

Keep on rocking! Cool

Thanks for understanding guys. Please trust that our reasons for this decision are justified, but that we really can't get into specifics too much. There were a lot of little reasons that became like one giant cross to bear. It's frustrating for you, the fans, not to be able to see and hear what goes on behind the scenes, so it might just seem like we were stringing you along, but that was never the case. A lot of hard work went into developing season 2 that most people will never realize because so much of it was on paper and only discussed in meetings. We only threw in the towel when we were certain that we were heading down a dead-end street. Even as recent as one month ago, we were optimistic that season 2 would be happening. We're truly sorry to have to break this news, and we can't thank you enough for your support. But please remember that although Captain S was our maiden voyage, PBC has now existed longer without Captain S than it had with Captain S. We produce lots of other content, and will continue to develop new ideas. We'd rather Captain S went out with people wanting more then fading out into obscurity.

And Derek, quit yo' hatin' on our song choice.

Could you at least milk the franchise for all it's worth with multiple spin-offs Crying or Very sad for me?

Hahaha, sorry brother, I can't help it! It's the music snob in me, he hates top 40 rock! Maybe I'm just a little upset that now I'll never have the chance to some how con my way into an episode of Cap'n S.

But back on to the topic, is there any chance of a documentary about the undoing of season two somewhere down the line? I'd make an awesome narrator!
