Dreamcast hands down. The Dreamcast is an amazing console that can play backups and homebrew games with out any kind of mod chip. Where as the Saturn was hard to program for(so it has been said), was over priced and didn't really have that great of a game library in the US.

Depends on the situation I suppose. Both are reusable which is good. But bags take less space to store. So for sure bags.

Shinobi. Sure, you couldn't stick to walls, but you were BIG compared to Gaiden! Plus you had 5 magic powers, a dog, and some multi-colored pals as backup (if you played the Game Gear).
